Located in Alice Springs, capital of Outback Australia, St Philip's is a Uniting Church co-educational Boarding and Day School for students in Years 7 - 12. With strong academic excellence and a widely accredited Outdoor Education and Performing Arts program, St Philip's College provides opportunities for your child that will endeavour to develop their individuality, strengthen leadership skills and create a well rounded individual, prepared for life after school. School Facility Hire
St Philip's College is blessed with modern, well-equipped facilities which are available for hire by the general public. The three College facilities listed below are available for hire.
P&FA
Every parent/guardian of a student at St Philip's is automatically a member of the Parents and Friends' Association (P&FA). The next regular meeting will be on: Tuesday 21 May at 7.30 pm in Fred McKay Education Centre.
History
In 1945 the Reverend Harry Griffiths, who worked for the Methodist Inland Mission in Alice Springs, saw the need for a boarding facility for children of families living in remote areas in Central Australia who needed access to schools.
General Information
St Philip's is an independent, co-educational day/boarding college run by the Uniting Church. It offers secondary education from Years 7 -12.

Pastoral Care
St Philip's pays particular attention to the care, guidance and encouragement given to each individual student. All teachers, by nature of their job, are involved in pastoral care. The House System also provides a structured opportunity for individual and small group relationships between staff and students.

Headmaster’s Welcome
Hello. I am Chris Tudor, Headmaster of St Philip's College. When I arrived in 1986, St Philip's was still exclusively a residential College, providing a home for students from the Outback who attended various schools in Alice Springs.
