St Philip's College offers a number of opportunities for financial assistance each year, including scholarships and bursaries (fee assistance).

2027 Reduced Fee Offer

In 2026 St Philip's College is proud to provide 20 x RFOs (Reduced Fee Offers) for eligible NEW students enrolling at St Philip's College in 2027. Successful applicants received a 50% reduction on tuition fees for 2027 (valued at $4,500+).

This offer does not include camp fees, uniforms, laptops, books etc. The successful applicants will undergo a six-monthly review and must maintain good behaviour, academic effort and results, show excellent attendance above 90% and participate in all school events. If financial assistance is required after 2027, a bursary application for fee assistance is available.

Selection Criteria is based on the student exhibiting the following: 

  • Sound Academic Effort and results
  • Attendance records above 90%
  • Completed Enrolment application with all accompanying documents
  • Economic Need

St Philip's College Music Scholarship

The Music Scholarship is designed to assist musically able students to attend the College. The scholarship provides 50% of annual College tuition fees and is tenable for two years.

Two scholarships are available:

  • Junior Music Scholarship – for students who will be entering Year 7 only, and
  • Senior Music Scholarship – for Year 11 or 12 students (new or current). 

All applicants must take part in an audition for this scholarship.

Applications for the 2027 Scholarship will open in Term 4, 2026.

The EIF (Exploring Identities and Futures) Scholarship

Donated by former teacher Karen Speros, this scholarship is designed to assist students to continue their education at the College in Year 11. The scholarship provides $1000 towards tuition costs for one year.

Selection Criteria is based on the student exhibiting the following: 

  • Entry to the scholarship is open to all Year 10 students that successfully complete the EIF course with an A grade.
  • Students must also be continuing their education at St Philip’s College in Year 11.
  • All students must complete the application form before participating in an interview with the Principal to discuss their learning and actions from their EIF course. 

Applications for the 2027 Scholarship will open in Term 4, 2026.

Fee assistance

A limited number of Fee Assistance Offers are given by the College in all year levels each year. An application form must be submitted each year fee assistance is required. 

Applications must be submitted with information on the parent/guardian's current tax information, and any benefits they may already be receiving. 

Students who receive a bursary are expected to meet the following criteria:

  • Maintain good education standards, including academic achievement and application to studies
  • Attendance above 90%
  • Maintain good behaviour at all times
  • Students must demonstrate contribution to the wider College community and participate in co-curricular activities, such as camps, carnivals, House events etc at the College
  • Your child will undergo a 6 monthly review and must meet the above criteria.

Fee Assistance Applications for 2027 will be open in Term 3, 2026 with applicants to be advised by early Term 4.
