We are thrilled to announce that St Philip's College is officially affiliated with the Liverpool Football Club International Academy (LFC IA) in Australia!
WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
- It will be a pathway that supports football development across Central Australia.
- Our partnership is fuelled by a shared passion for excellence and inclusivity.
- This momentous collaboration will mark a pivotal milestone in the sport, empowering students from Alice Springs to embrace their potential and train at the highest level.
- Our students and others in the region will have access to the Liverpool Football Club International Academy coaching programs.
- Coaches in the region will have the opportunity for training and certification in The Liverpool Way.
- Players will learn to grow on and off the pitch with life skills such as communication, teamwork, problem solving and decision making.
- Local players will have development opportunities close to home and will have at their fingertips the resources of one of the most internationally recognised sporting institutions.
World Class Training
We're proud to partner with Liverpool Football Club International Academy. LFC IA is the global youth coaching arm of Liverpool Football Club, an English Premier League club. The International Academy delivers the same coaching curriculum and techniques used with the club’s own young players at the Academy in Liverpool.
Their vision is to be the world leader in developing young people through football. They seek to partner with schools that share their belief that well-run, values-driven sports programs and extracurricular activities can support stronger education outcomes, helping the students of today become the leaders of tomorrow.
About the Partnership
Launched in July 2026, the program is designed so that St Philip's students and all students in Central Australia have access to a training program straight from LFC IA, focused on building not only technical football skills but also fostering a mindset of excellence, determination, and teamwork.
LFC IA will provide cutting-edge development and training methodology, delivering an authentic High Performance Training program for students of all abilities. Whether you’re a seasoned footballer or just starting out, this program offers something for everyone!

- Experience an authentic LFC IA training session in a 30min taster clinic!
- Train under our Official LFC IA Coaches and learn to play “The Liverpool Way”
- Participate in drills, technical skills, small- games while embodying Unity, Ambition, Integrity and Passion!
- Be inspired by LFC role models through our handcrafted curriculum.
- Enjoy food, refreshments and LFC giveaways along the side-lines!
