Tony Smith is a successful, local businessman who has had a long association with the College. Tony's daughters (Vanessa and Jess) graduated from St Philip's and through Tony's support and the establishment of the Tania Smith Scholarship Fund (in memory of Tony's daughter Tania), hundreds of children from remote and regional Australia have been able to benefit from the world class education offered at St Philip's College.
The local community has also benefitted from Tony's support of numerous other organisations. Tony is a true example of an Outback Achiever.
